With this step-by-step guide you can use the podcast space. This guide is about the station in U41 . No computer is connected here. You can connect your own laptop if you want to record via a DAW on your computer. But this is not necessary. If you want to record via Audition on your laptop, have a look at Link: Podcastplatz - U40 Otherwise just follow this guide.

Switch on the RodeCaster Pro with the red button on the back. When asked if the memory card should be formatted, confirm this via the touch display of the RodeCasterPro. Pull up the faders of the channel numbers of the microphones you want to use. Put on your headphones.
To level the microphones, press the number of the respective microphone on the RodeCasterPro.
A menu opens, select ‘Level’ here. Make sure that the level is in the green range when the person is speaking. Otherwise, use the plus and minus signs to make it louder or quieter (usually around 40). Phantom Power must be off.
Format the memory card once before recording so that you have enough storage space for your recording. To do this, press the memory card icon at the top right of the display. Then slide the field from left to right to confirm the formatting. Press ‘Yes’.
Raise the faders of the microphones you want to use so that the level deflection is suitable. Now you can start recording with the green REC button.
